I met Jenna for the first time when she was in a wedding for a past bride of mine, Meara. This was a handful of years ago, and I was so thrilled to hear from Jenna when she initially emailed me about her wedding date. Planning their wedding from Boston, her and Jacob pulled of an incredible day. Despite knowing her before their wedding, I couldn’t have loved her family and friends more and they sure love Jenna and Jacob. We started the day early at the hair salon, which also included lots of coffee drinking from the bridal party.
From the salon, we packed up the cars and headed to Cheyenne Mountain Resort where the girls would get ready and the ceremony and reception would be held.
I always love this moment. When a bride finishes getting ready and her friends are so excited for her!
Three generations.
So many wonderful things happened at their ceremony. I loved when all the guests stood to pray with them and they were surrounded by their bridal party. I loved hearing Jacob’s Dads plane flying overhead taking photos of the ceremony. I loved how they had Jacob’s moms Bible at the ‘alter’ as a memory of her. I loved the zest they have for one another.

And then the party started!
Someone brought in beer from Boston, specifically for the event!
Can you guess the song they are singing? Think Top Gun…
What a great party!
Lovely photos. What a gorgeous wedding!
