Steven & Erin – Wedding

Colorado Springs, CO — Steven and Erin got married on an amazingly sunny day a few weeks back — and for being the end of winter here in Colorado, they lucked out. The day before the wedding, we had a “blizzard” arrive and drop some icy snow, but by the time they were ready to walk down the aisle the next day, all their family had made it into town safely and the sun was out. 🙂 Perfect. 🙂

I know I’ve said this before, but my favorite part about weddings is getting to know the bride and groom better. I spent the weekend with Steven, Erin and their families and they are as real as it gets. They both have large, very caring families which explains why Steve and Erin are such great people! I learned about some neat traditions and got to laugh… a lot. 🙂 Thanks guys for a great weekend. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed taking them.

The Groom — who also happens to be a Colorado Springs Firefighter — so we went down to one of the stations for photo fun.

The reception was at The Warehouse… a favorite of mine.

Sisters.

Brothers.

Like I said, they have so many friends and family who love and support them.

During some down time I like to steal the bride and groom away for some photos. We piled in their car and they took us to Old Town Bike Shop off of Tejon. They are avid bike riders so it totally made sense to get some shots of them on a tandem bike! 🙂 I love it!! I totally give them the credit for this awesome idea. 🙂 Thanks to John and his staff for letting us use his bike!

Thanks Erin and Steve for asking me to play a part in your day. I have truly enjoyed getting to know you over these past months. I wish you the very best! 🙂
