The day of Jubilee and Angelene’s wedding, it snowed. Not just nice little flakes that would have been fun for the photos, but wet, windy and very cold snow. They really wanted some outdoor sunset photos in the fields nearby and I felt so bad it couldn’t happen, so I offered to do an after the wedding session for them when they got back from their honeymoon. I just shot this a few days back, but here’s a few that stood out to me and I had so much fun with this session. Thanks Angelene and Jubilee for being so wonderful. You’re both so full of life and love for one another and it’s contagious. I loved laughing with you and getting to know you both these past few months. 🙂 Jubilee expressed his interest in photography so I brought along some of my vintage camera collection to play around with.
Karee and Geoff tied the knot at The Pinery in Black Forest, Colorado the first weekend in April. That weekend we had two weddings (this one was on Saturday, the next one on Sunday) both at this venue. However, each wedding was totally different including the weather! Karee and Geoff had a sunny day (although windy) and my next wedding had snow. Colorado in the spring always keeps us guessing. Both weddings were incredibly beautiful though no matter the weather. I posted these as a sneak peek on my Megan Hardre Photography Facebook page last week and one of the comments left on a photo of Karee is that her smile is contagious. They were so right as you’ll see below! Getting ready photos are a lot of fun. So happy when our brides ask us to be there for them. And, I told you Karee had a great smile!
