My dear friends had a baby. Not only did they have a baby, they had a really, really cute baby. And he happens to reside in the most fashionable nursery I have ever seen. I’m pretty sure he’s perfect in every way and saying I’m excited to watch him grow since they live a stones throw away from me, is saying it mildly. I love these photos of Ashlee doing life with her little man. I hope in 5 years she can look back on these and instantly remember what it was like to hold him in his nursery chair and feel the wind blowing through the window. I hope she can hear his coo’s and laughs. These moments are fleeting, but so incredibly wonderful. Meet Broderick the Brave.

This was a handful of years ago, and I was so thrilled to hear from Jenna when she initially emailed me about her wedding date. Planning their wedding from Boston, her and Jacob pulled of an incredible day. Despite knowing her before their wedding, I couldn’t have loved her family and friends more and they sure love Jenna and Jacob. We started the day early at the hair salon, which also included lots of coffee drinking from the bridal party. From the salon, we packed up the cars and headed to Cheyenne Mountain Resort where the girls would get ready and the ceremony and reception would be held.  I always love this moment. Ellen & Andy (married) Colorado Springs, CO

Ceremony: First Methodist Church – Downtown Colorado Springs, Co Reception: Doolittle Hall – Air Force Academy Photographers: Megan and Callie Ellen and Andy are the sweetest couple. They were married a few weeks back downtown Colorado Springs at the First Methodist Church, which is simply so fun to photograph at, especially outside with all of their neat architecture. We stopped at the Garden of the Gods to grab a few more photos of just them on the way to the reception. From the aisle decorations during the ceremony, to the flowers, Ellen told me it was a completely DIY (do it yourself) wedding. She is incredibly creative and made the details of the day very personal to her and Andy.
