Tiffany and Shawn (wedding – Colorado Springs, CO)

Tiffany and Shawn were married at The Broadmoor mid-afternoon in late July and it was such a wonderful day! I love how these turned out and how the emotion of the day is played out in the images below. I also adore Tiffany’s choice in colors for her reception — and her table decor is hands down my favorite as of yet. I wanted to take home all the centerpieces as well as the table coverings but they wouldn’t fit in my camera bag. (kidding!). Tiffany couldn’t have picked out a better dress — she looked absolutely stunning as you’ll see shortly. Incredible, right? They make me happy just looking at them. The view to the left was overlooking the golf course. It was such an honor to be there on your day — wishing you the best on the east coast! Megan

Sherry and Kevin – engagements

When I first met Sherry, I liked her immediately. She’s classy, smart and very sweet. Kevin is such a great compliment to her. He has a great sense of humor, and it’s so great to see how much he loves Sherry. They made my job very easy because they genuinely just enjoyed being around one another, and that’s a lot of fun to photograph. I had such a great afternoon with these two and I can’t wait for their wedding at the Shove Chapel is summer. In the meantime, enjoy some photos we took a week or so ago when there was still snow on the grounds of the Broadmoor. Blue steel, anyone? Thanks for the wonderful afternoon! Megan

Meara – Bridal Portraits

Meara is getting married in July and wanted a gift to give to her husband on or around their wedding day. Bridal portraits are the perfect idea! Meara has the best bubbly, joyful personality — her smile is contagious! It’s really easy to photography someone as happy as her. Here’s a few favorites from our shoot. Meara’s bought her dress from Something New Boutique and the awesome flowers were donated to us specifically for this shoot by Amber at Beautiful Expressions. Thanks Meara! Looking forward to your wedding in July!

Jeff & Carolyn – Engaged

I had fun this past Thursday with Carolyn and Jeff on the SW part of town. They are getting married this August and thankfully we finally had a day with some sunshine after the past few weeks have been filled with snow and rain. Hopefully all this cold weather is gone for a few months because it’s wedding season! They wanted to go to The Broadmoor for their photos because that’s where they had their first date — no problem there! Here’s a few of my favorites from their shoot. 🙂 I love this rocking chair one… 🙂 The fire pit where they sat on their first date. 🙂 Love it. 🙂 You know I’m a big fan of flair… 🙂 Yummy light. 🙂 Her only request was to get a shot with Pikes Peak in the background. Done and done. 🙂 Looking forward to August! 🙂

Julie + Jeremy

I love doing engagement photos. It give me a chance to get to know the couple before the wedding and it gives them a chance to get comfortable in front of the camera and also with the way I shoot. I really enjoyed hanging out with Julie and Jeremy at The Broadmoor this evening and am looking forward to their wedding this February! Here are just a few of my favorites from this evening that I have edited. My favorite. 🙂 My other favorite. I can have two. 🙂 And yes, her eyes are really that awesome blue color. No Photoshop there. Okay, this one above is another favorite. 🙂 This isn’t posed. They were just waiting for people to pass by in between shots and I caught this. Love it. They are so cute. 🙂 Thanks guys for braving the cold weather! I am super excited for your February wedding! 🙂 See you soon!

Cami + Josh = Engaged

Cami and Josh are a really cute couple. Both from Texas, they are getting married next summer back home where all their family and friends are, but wanted a Colorado feel for their engagement photos. We really couldn’t have had a better evening for a shoot. The weather started just slightly breezy and sunny. Then half way through it started raining so we headed inside for some more shots. As soon as it let up, we headed back outside to dark clouds (love them!) and… a rainbow! Even better! It was meant to be. 🙂 Here are just a few of my favorites from the day. Then it started to rain… so we headed inside for a bit. 🙂 This one makes me happy. 🙂 He just got his ring that week so we had to show them both off. 🙂 My favorite!Cami and Josh, thanks for a great time and for braving the weather. It was so worth it! 🙂 I wish you both the very best and good luck during your final year here in the springs! 🙂
