When I first met Toni and Jordan, I was struck by how comfortable their love seemed — so easy and wonderful. Their conversation flowed easily, their smiles were plentiful and I spied the sparks of excitement as they shared with me the plans for their special day. I could tell this couple had a great story to tell and I wanted to photograph that story!
I was beyond honored when they asked me to do their engagement and wedding photos. I made the beautiful drive from Colorado Springs to Boulder and met these two at a Starbucks near the University of Colorado, Boulder campus. If you have never had the pleasure of visiting this campus, it is stunning and reason enough to visit Boulder.
As we walked and looked for nooks and crannies to snap a few photos in, Toni filled me in on her and Jordan’s history. They basically grew up together! A close friendship that blossomed into a deep love, she said no one was surprised when that happened, but everyone was pleased.
I had such a fun time with this couple their session was filled with lots of laughter, fun, and of course love.
They wanted a few options for their Save the Date cards, so we brought their chalkboard around during the shoot. Super fun!
