Jennie and Cameron – Maternity Session

Jennie and I spoke about doing some maternity photos of her just a few days ago — but we knew we had to do them soon since her due date is this next Wednesday! Unfortunately, it was snowy and 15 degrees out the evening I went to their home for the shoot. Luckily I have backdrops for situations when we can’t go outdoors. Here’s some from the shoot! My favorite! 🙂 Thanks Jennie and Cameron! I can’t wait to meet your newest addition in just a few short days! 🙂 Hang in there!

MHP = Photography AND Wedding Planning

It’s here. The day my business partner Edi and I have been talking about for months. We’ve planned, discussed, took notes, conference calls, etc… and it’s here. What am I talking about? Megan Hardre Photography now has a new addition and it’s wedding planning. About a year ago, I envisioned expanding my business to incorporate wedding planning. I knew I wanted to have it available for couples planning their wedding and because after shooting so many weddings, I have experienced the difference a wedding planner can make. However, I didn’t really know where to go from there. So, I prayed and I prayed for a next step. Towards the end of last year, Edi, who was then my second shooter at weddings and my right hand approached me about something like I mentioned above and it was such an answer to prayer. So, here we are. I will continue to capture your treasured moments with my camera and Edi is available to assist you in the details of your special day. Please be sure to check out our new website here: MHPAnd check out her blog here: Edi’s Wedding Planning We always love comments, so let us know what you […]

Megan Hardre Photography is EXPANDING!

I hope everyone has been enjoying the first few weeks of 2009! We’ve been super busy here getting ready to launch my newly designed website, blog and also a business expansion! I can’t wait to tell you what it’s all about — but I want it to be done before I let it all out! 🙂 All that will be up within the next week so keep checking back. And, since a post isn’t really a post without a photo, I’ll leave you with a few photos I took of a family here in the springs right after Christmas. You’d laugh if you saw me trying to get all the kids looking in my direction at the same time. Good times. 🙂

Stephen loves Tess

I met Stephen and Tess this past Friday for my first shoot of the year! What a great way to start off 2009 with such a fun couple. They are getting married this August and since they first met at a Starbucks here in town, it was only appropriate to start there. 🙂 Here are just a few of my favorites from the day. Then we headed to one of my favorite spots in Old Colorado City. Then… we headed to Glen Eyrie Castle for the last part of the shoot. What an amazing place! Stephen & Tess, thanks for a fantastic afternoon! I really enjoyed meeting you both! 🙂
